This is an organizer application.

This organizer helps you do a range of things that normally would require multiple applications. FileOne can be used as a possible desktop alternative for Outlook, OneNote and EverNote. Which means it is an email client as well as a note taking organizer with multi-media features. This tool is available for Linux and Windows platforms. After creating notes and documents it is possible to send the same to a single or multiple recipients with a single right click. The tool will help you receive emails too. This same tool will let you import music tracks and play them. If your fancy takes you to listening to one of the thousands or so Internet radios, use this application to do that easily. Importing images and photos and viewing them is not a problem either. If you wanted to create calendar events and organize meetings and send meeting invitations, that’s possible too.

It is possible to record the radio streams, if you like. For movie buff, that includes most of us, this tool will let you import the movie you want and view it easily. Downloading movies from online sources is no problem at all. Imported music tracks can be organized as play-lists for listening convenience. If you wanted to create a slideshow from the slides imported into the tool, the necessary functions are available. Any type of files could be imported and a file-type associated with it and view them. These files could be organized into a tree view simply by drag and drop. This is a good tool.

FileOne stores all data inside a single container file and is therefor 100% portable. Data created on Linux can be edited, viewed and played on Microsoft Windows and vice versa. The single file container is optimized to contain gigabytes of email, notes, documents, music tracks, video' s and other binaries (like Word, Excel and .pdf files for example).
